Dear Dr. Dave and Dr. Dee, I have heard that with open-toed high heels, you shouldn't wear any nylons, just bare-legged? I have a short cocktail dress and open-toed high heels, but want to wear hose or tights. Is that okay? Signed, Wondering Dear Wondering, Short cocktail dresses and open-toed shoes look best with very sheer skin-colored nylons (sheer-toes, too) or no nylons at all. However, you can also choose dark sheer nylons that match your dress and shoes. Tights are a little too thick for the attire. |
