Dear Dr. Dave and Dr. Dee,

I have traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East on business. Regarding your article, "Shoes On or Off In Home?" - just wanted to let you know that your statement that "hundreds of millions" take off their shoes before entering their home is an underestimate. It's BILLIONS! If you consider that China and India alone each have a billion people, the numbers are enormous.

Thanks for the information. Others have mentioned that Canadians also take their shoes off in the home. It appears that the U.S. may be the least accustomed to this practice of shoes off. We always appreciate comments and suggestions.
