Addressing Envelope for International Mailing

Dear Dr. Dave & Dr. Dee,

How do I address a postcard from the United Kingdom to the USA?

Signed,

Need Advice

Dear Need Advice,

When addressing a postcard or envelope to an out of country residence, then always put the country of destination as the last line of the address in capital letters.

For example, from the United Kingdom to the USA, the last line should have either USA or UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

If mailing from the USA to the UK, then the last line of the address should have either ENGLAND or GREAT BRITAIN.

The return address should also include the country of origin. Also, be sure and include the required postage for overseas mailing.
