Hosiery with Sandals and Long Gown

Dear Dr. Dave and Dee,

My friend thinks I should wear hose to my 25th wedding anniversary ceremony. It will be an evening affair. I will be wearing open-toed high heel sandals with a floor length gown. Is going barelegged okay or not?

It would be fine to go barelegged. If you are more comfortable without hosiery or stockings, then don't wear any.
