College Ring Leave Off for Job Interview





Dear Dr. Dave and Dr. Dee,

We're glad that our son is proud of his college ring and wears it all the time. However, there is some debate as to whether he should take the ring off for a job interview. I think he should take it off; he feels it's fine to keep it on and it doesn't matter. What is the proper thing to do?

Generally, for a job interview, it would be best if males did not wear a college ring, or any ring unless it is a wedding band. In addition, males should not wear earrings or any other body piercing (i.e. nose, eyebrow, tongue) during the interview.
