Breakfast - Superfood Favorite



Our favorite breakfast cereal is a variation of Rip Esselstyn's recipe, "Ripís Big Bowl" (engine2diet.com). Basically, our recipe consists of whole oats, shredded wheat, flaxseed, ftuits, and nuts.

Dr. Dave and Dr. Deeís Superfood Breakfast (one serving)

In your cereal bowl, combine the following:

1/2 Cup old-fashioned oats

1/2 Cup Kashi Whole Wheat Biscuits Island Vanilla (Dr. Dee likes to crush with fingers, then add to bowl)

1 Tablespoon ground flaxseed

2 Tablespoons Kirkland Wholesome Fruit & Nuts (dried cranberries, dried cherries, almonds, walnuts, dry-roasted pistachios)

1 Tablespoon blueberries (fresh or dried)

Half a banana cut up small pieces

Soy Milk (organic) enough to cover cereal

Optional: Add more fruit: tablespoon other fresh fruits cut small such as pineapple, mango, strawberry, cantaloupe.
