Breakfast - Superfood Favorite

Our favorite breakfast cereal is a variation of Rip Esselstyn's recipe, "Ripís Big Bowl" ( Basically, our recipe consists of whole oats, shredded wheat, flaxseed, ftuits, and nuts.

Dr. Dave and Dr. Deeís Superfood Breakfast (one serving)

In your cereal bowl, combine the following:

1/2 Cup old-fashioned oats

1 Tablespoon ground flaxseed

1/2 Cup Kirkland Wholesome Fruit & Nuts (dried cranberries, dried cherries, almonds, walnuts, dry-roasted pistachios)

1 Tablespoon blueberries (fresh or dried)

Half a banana cut up small pieces

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Soy Milk (organic) enough to cover cereal

Optional: Add more fruit: tablespoon other fresh fruits cut small such as pineapple, mango, strawberry, cantaloupe.
