Home Decorating - Red Paint for Living Room

Dear Dr. Dave and Dr. Dee,

I have always wanted to be bold and paint our living room walls red. My husband thinks that red walls would be too much. Who is right?

A compromise is in order. See if your husband would be agreeable to having just one wall painted red. Then coordinate the rest of the room with red touches such as pillows, a lamp, or rug. Once your husband gets used to the one red wall, maybe he will be more open to painting more walls red. However, one red wall may be all that is needed.
