Dear Dr. Dave and Dr. Dee,

I have a favorite pendant that I always wear, but wondered if it would be proper to wear additional necklaces with it? For example, the pendant is about an inch big and hangs on a 20 inch chain, so would a shorter necklace or one longer necklace be appropriate?

You can add a shorter necklace, a longer one, or add both to enhance your pendant. You can mix long pearl strands with gold or silver necklaces, just be careful with the pearls as they scratch easily. Layering multiple necklaces is fun and creative.
