Table Manners - No Nose Blowing





Dear Dr. Dave and Dr. Dee,

In a restaurant, my son blows his nose at the table instead of going to the restroom as I have requested. My husband doesn't think it's that big a deal, and won't side with me. Am I right or wrong?

Tell your son that all the etiquette experts agree, never blow your nose in a restaurant! Always go to the restroom for nose blowing. If it's just the sniffles, he can use a tissue to dab his nose if there's only a slight drip.
