Chandelier Earrings Okay for Any Age





Dear Dr. Dave and Dr. Dee,

I recently purchased a pair of long dangly earrings to wear to a party, and my teenage daughter said that the earrings "weren't me." It turns out that my daughter felt that long earrings were for teens, not moms! I wore the earrings anyway, but felt a little self-conscious. Is there an age limit for wearing long dangling earrings? I am in my 40's.

Long dangling earrings, also known as chandelier earrings, can be worn at any age and any time. There are many different styles, sizes and lengths, and more elaborate earrings are normally reserved for special social functions.
